Ann Elliott R.I.P.

Post by Richard Ruck »

The current issue of the West Sussex County Times carries the sad announcement that Ann Elliott recently passed away.

Those of us who were in the Band during David Elliott's time as bandmaster will have good cause to remember Ann's friendship and generous hospitality.

Condolences to Wendy and Lizzy.

The funeral will be at 1.00 p.m. this coming Friday, December 8th., at Brighton Road Baptist Church, Horsham.

The announcement asks for family flowers only, but donations for Macmillan Nurses can be sent to Freeman Brothers, Horsham. Tel.01403-254590 for details.

That's so sad. Ann really was such an important part of the band 'family' that existed when David was bandmaster. Always made us welcome at their home. An intrinsic part of my band memories. Not to mention ensuring the drummers white golves were always immaculate!

My deep condolences to Lizzy and Wendy.

Such sad news. I'd echo Eloise's comments

She'll be sorely missed.

I've only just seen this. How did I miss it? Lizzy and Wendy, if you see this, all our love to you.
