In a recent survey done during July, the Wallons expresse their desire to be attached to France! The king Albert 2 has given the Parliament until september to sort out the dissent! The School Monitors in my day (1984) got some money called Q Shott: As SG I got something like £7 a term. can anyone explain where Q Shott name comes from and of course if there is still a financial advantage in being a school monitor? My money went on beers at the club!!

This is a horrible one and has happened twice in the last ten days in france. Being so close to l'hexagone, I get the national news from French TV. In two seperate cases, a toddler has been left in a car by his parent who seems to have completely forgotten only to return some 3-4 hours later to find...

He was a good teahcer but my criticism of him was that he'd rock up 30 minutes or more so late to a double period and quiet frankly that was not what Iexpected in my A level year. I and another grecian returned to our Houses on one occasion only to receieve the biggest bollocking from a Yorkshireman...

Have only just seen this one but Louis Bardou got me through O level a year early and with an A, as did everyone in the set. Interesting state of affairs as it has exisited as a kingdom for a couple of centuries or so.... Not a huge fan of making brussels the EU version of DC, but would agree to it if they stopped going off to Strasbourg every month wasting money :evil: Personally I find Brussels itself one of the better...
